This member of the tandematic decurling family is designed for use on the rails of pin stenters.

The unusual two-tier design allows fabric edges to enter the pinning area along the same path as the body of the fabric, so there is no possibility of marking due to distortion. This straight line configuration is impossible with other decurling systems.

When the “split level” decurler is used in combination with the tandematic nip roller module (instead of conventional belt overfeed unit), decurling takes place closer to the pins than possible with any other curl removal system. This means less selvedge waste and increased fabric yield.

Upper and lower panels have been stiffened to reduce deflection possible with earlier versions.
