The digital-analog converter AK 4021 permits the connection of digital E+L sensors to analog evaluating electronics. It supplies a potential-free analog sensor signal. One converter AK 4021 per sensor is required.
Three isolated outputs indicate the status of the sensor signal: measuring range limit right/left reached and sensor signal invalid.

LEDs H 1 red and H 3 green indicate the position of the guiding criterion (web edge or printed line) in the sensor scanning range. They light up with medium brightness when the guiding criterion is in the center of the sensor measuring range or when no sensor is connected.
