The TMUNZ and TMU motors are submersible motors designed for operating below water.

The three-phase squirrel-cage motors have a degree of protection IP 68 and are usually used for totally immerged operation below water up to a depth of 30 m.

The motors are available for direct mounting to the drive or as complete unit with oil cup and mechanical face seal.

For drywell conditions a cooling jacket for forced cooling is available as an option.

For operating in hazardous area a corresponding motor type can be selected in degree of protection “flameproof” Ex db IIB T4 Gb.
