DER3B MED – the UNIVERSAL type B differential.
Dossena presents the DER3B MED range, the new generation of type B separate toroid differential relays.
DER3B MED is recommended for electrical protection in the tertiary sector, where devices generating alternating, continuous or mixed leakage currents (inverters, soft start, UPS, electromedical equipment such as MRI, CT scan, etc.). The large LCD display changes color based on the operating status and constantly monitors the differential current in TRMS with the novelty of displaying the differential current divided into AC and DC.

They allow adequate selectivity and differential protection to be achieved thanks to the wide adjustment of the leakage current threshold (0.03÷10/16A) and the trip delay threshold (up to 15 sec).

The DER3BMED Dossena are perfectly compliant with the strict regulations in force (IEC 60947-2:2019), thus satisfying a dual need: the safety of the system and the continuity of the service.

Quantities and parameters are displayed on a large, very bright dot matrix display which changes color in relation to the operating status of the instrument (Green=measurement/monitoring, Blue=programming, Red=alarm/intervention).
